Unusual 2-liter Glass Coke Bottle with American Indian screw off metal cap................
I know this is a glass coke bottle by the numbers on the bottom of the bottle. The bottle was found buried in the dirt where I had gone for a walk. The bottle and unusual metal cap has been researched by many collectors. before my decision to list it.
On the inside of the metal screw on cap
a picture of an 'Indian' wearing a headdress. Around that it says 'AMERICAN INDIAN EXPOSITION OKLAHOMA #36' Now Embossed around the bottom half of bottle is says, NO DEPOSIT NO REFILL. DISPOSE OF PROPERLY. On the bottom of bottle (upside down) there is a series of numbers,
L-66402, dead center is 64, #'s 77 and one number is either a 5 or 6.
Lastly the top of the metal cap has, RED CIRCLE, COCA-COLA, trademark R, CARBONATED WATER, SUGAR, CARAMEL COLOR, PHOSPHORIC ACID, NATURAL FLAVORINGS, CAFFEINE.
There was a paper label on bottle, it had rotted off. Just some glue and bits of paper remains. It was buried quite well in the dirt and leaves. Besides the missing label, the bottle and cap are in very good condition.
